Every year, about 15 billion trees are cut down worldwide. Traditional charcoal production is a big reason for this. In Germany, people burn around 250,000 tons of grilling charcoal each season. This charcoal often comes from tropical forests in countries like Nigeria and Paraguay. We think grilling should not harm our planet's forests. That's why we created coconut charcoal briquettes.
